Entries sought for county fair talent show

LUVERNE — Entrants are being sought for this year's Rock County Fair Talent Contest, which will take place at 7 p.m. July 24 at the Historic Palace Theatre.

Singers, musicians, comedians and entertainers of every age are encouraged to put their talents before a live audience. Prizes of $100, $75 and $50 are awarded to the top three winners of each category.

All first-place winners at the county fair level advance to the Minnesota State Fair Amateur Talent Contest, which will take place evenings from Aug. 22 through Aug. 30 beginning at 7 p.m. on the Baldwin Park stage. Local winners select their performance date.
