Windsurfing National Championship returns to Worthington

SWCC to host training on sexual violence

WORTHINGTON — The Southwest Crisis Center (SWCC) will be hosting a domestic and sexual violence training Sept. 17-24 in Worthington. The training is free and open to the public.

Each day will focus on a different aspect of domestic and sexual violence including the history of violence, the spectrum of sexual violence, dynamics of domestic violence, dynamics of healing, the criminal justice system response, safety planning and advocacy. The training will take place at the SWCC’s Worthington office at 320 S. Lake St.

Community members and other professionals are invited to attend and may choose to attend individual sessions or the entire training.
