WORTHINGTON — The Worthington High School Class of 1959 will gather for its 60th reunion during Turkey Day weekend to help recognize the 80th anniversary of KTD and once again be in the parade.
Myron Meyer, longtime Worthington resident, will pull a hay wagon with his tractor, built the same year many class members were born —1941.
The class of ’59 is spread far and wide, with one particular classmate driving 900 miles to be in attendance. Others are flying in from across the U.S, and many still live in the Worthington area. One classmate will be attending his very first reunion.
The group will gather at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13 at the Hickory Lodge in the Norwood Inn. Members of the Class of ’58 and the Class of ’60 are invited to stop in to renew old friendships.
