WORTHINGTON — Cooperative Energy and Cenex recently donated $5,000 to King Turkey Day to support planning the 80th year of the community festival.

The donation is part of a grant program that allows Cenex to give back to the communities it serves — a total of more than $100,000 this year.

“Cooperative Energy is proud to celebrate traditions that make our town unique,” said Brian Dreesen, general manager of Cooperative Energy. “Here in Worthington, we look forward to the King Turkey Day each year, and it’s exciting that the Cenex donation will help support the event for years to come.”
