The Nobles County Library, 407 12th St., Worthington, is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Here’s what’s happening in children’s programming:

  • Story Time, 10 a.m. Wednesday.

  • After School Programs, 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays (Grades K-5).

  • Just Gurlz, Thursdays after school until 4:45 p.m. (Grades 5+).

  • Wii Program, Mondays after school until 4:45 p.m. (Grades 5-9).

Worthington library:

  • Many new books and audios will be available soon!

Friends of the Library

  • Book Club meets from 7-8 p.m. Monday. The book being discussed is “Warlight,” by Michael Ondaatje. All are welcome.

This type of library may loan out kitchen appliances, tools, sewing machines, toys, games, suitcases, art, gardening tools, craft supplies, musical instruments and much more for no charge.
