WORTHINGTON — Winterfest is coming up next weekend, with a variety of activities scheduled to celebrate winter fun.
Leading up to Winterfest, two activities will take place throughout the next week. The annual medallion hunt begins Monday, with a new clue revealed each day. Whoever finds the medallion wins Chamber bucks.
New this year, said Winterfest committee chair Andy Johnson, will be the placement of 150 snow rocks throughout Worthington, in public places and local businesses. These flat rocks have a snowman painted on them. If you see one, keep it and bring it after 3:30 p.m. Saturday to the Beach Party at the Worthington Event Center to be entered in a drawing for a gift basket from local businesses.
Winterfest officially kicks off Friday night and runs through Saturday. The schedule of events is as follows:

The Worthington Regional Health Care Foundation is matching all Deep Freeze Dip donations.
