WINDOM — The Sons of Norway Stavanger Lodge 1-538 will conduct its next meeting at 7 p.m. July 15, at the Cottonwood Co. Historical Society, 812 Fourth Ave., Windom.

Ilene Clark, owner of Antiques 86 near Lakefield, will present “Downsize and De-Clutter”. The amount of items accumulated over many years living in the same house can be overwhelming. Remember, it’s all just “stuff”….except when it’s not. Things change, such as our health, or when someone passes on.

Clark, a Senior Move Manager, will give ideas and suggestions to help ease the emotional and physical stress of the moving process. Downsizing is hardest because it is emotionally difficult for people to release their history. Nothing should be off limits. Either use it, love it or leave it.

Guests are always welcome at any Lodge meeting. Refreshments will be served. Masks and social distancing are required in the Historical Museum for non-vaccinated individuals.

The mission of the Sons of Norway is to promote, preserve and cherish a lasting appreciation for the heritage and culture of Norway and other Nordic cultures.
