JACKSON — The next Jackson Library Brown Bag program, Lakefield Library Afternoon Coffee Break program, and Heron Lake Library Sunset Spotlight program is planned Nov. 3. The program “CBD” will be presented by Adam and Julia Weets from Alpha.
The Weets will share their knowledge about CBD (cannabidiol) and how and why they got into making their own CBD products from hemp.
The process starts in their greenhouse, where they plant every seed, water every sprout, transplant every seedling, and harvest each plant by hand in their organic operation.
The Weets will also discuss the anecdotal benefits of CBD products.
This adult program begins at noon in the Jackson Library meeting room, at 2 p.m. in the Lakefield Library meeting room and at 5:30 p.m. in the Heron Lake Library meeting room. (Program plans are subject to change.)
For more information, call your local library.
Programs for adults will be on the first Wednesday of each month and may include speakers, crafts or author visits, etc.
