FULDA — Fulda Area Credit Union (FACU) announces an appreciation program for first responders including EMTs/paramedics, firefighters, police officers and health care workers.
Starting Friday , FACU will be handing out $5 gift cards for these individuals to use at local restaurants, while supplies last. The goal is to honor all community members in these occupations, so membership with FACU is not required to receive the gift card.
"At Fulda Area Credit Union, we’re proud to support our communities and recognize the people who make them great places to live.," FACU President and CEO Chad Merrihew said. "We’re thankful for our first responders and health care workers who all strive to keep us safe.
"That’s why each branch of Fulda Area Credit union is participating in this program by offering $5 restaurant gift cards as a small token of our appreciation," Merrihew continued. "This allows us the privilege to support local restaurants while showing our appreciation to these critical workers.”
With the COVID-19 pandemic affecting many aspects of daily living, FACU continues to remain operational while taking measures to keep its staff and members safe. Individuals are encouraged to contact the credit union to discuss ways it can help. FACU also frequently post updates on social media and its website.
