WORTHINGTON — The Prairie Winds Republican Women will host an event from 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 24, at Hickory Lodge Bar & Grill, Worthington.

Guest speaker is Kendall Qualls, president of TakeCharge. The theme is “Fallacies of critical race theory.”

Qualls leads an organization that inspires and educates black and other minority communities to take charge of their own lives and not rely on government and politicians for redemption and prosperity. He champions the principles of meritocracy and supports the notion that free enterprise, and the private sector, are the fastest and most equitable way to lift people from poverty to prosperity — including black Americans.

All are welcome, and RSVPs are requested to JoAnn Smith at 360-0755 or
