WORTHINGTON — Kendra Christians was the grand prize winner in the Early Risers Kiwanis Grocery Dash, conducted Monday evening at Fareway in Worthington. She had two minutes to pile as many things into her grocery cart as she could while being cheered on by family and Kiwanis members.

Early Risers Kiwanis sold tickets for the drawing, with all proceeds to benefit student projects in the area.

In addition, Fareway Manager Freddie Magana awarded Fareway gift cards to three individuals for having the fastest times in returning items to the shelves. Wade Anderson won a $200 gift card; Jeff Golombiecki, $100 and LeRoy Ennenga, representing Manna Food Pantry, received $50.
