Summary of Minutes
February 19, 2019 Regular Meeting
The Nobles Board of Commissioners met for its Regular Meeting at the Government Center in the City of Worthington. Commissioners Justin Ahlers, Gene Metz, Matt Widboom, Robert S. Demuth Jr. and Donald Linssen were in attendance.
Approved agenda as presented.
Christopher Janssen, Highway Maintenance Worker in Public Works, and Lori Walker, Deputy Auditor-Treasurer/Accounting in Auditor-Treasurer's office, were in attendance and were presented with anniversary awards for 10 years of service and 35 years of service respectively.
Approved consent agenda as presented including proceedings of the February 5, 2019 Regular Meeting, Travel Expenses and Auditor's and Commissioner's Warrants totaling $592,699.87.
Approved payment to the Nobles County Townships based on the previously approved formula considering each town's levy, population and road mileage.
Authorized the Chairperson to sign the Forbidden Barrel petition recommending approval of vacating the right-of-way by the City of Worthington for the new business.
Accepted the mediation proposal to pay an additional $10,000.00 to the funds already paid to Splitrock Landscaping and Nursery, Inc.
Appointed Alicia Jensen, Worthington, to a three year term expiring December 31, 2021 on the Travel Southwest Minnesota Inc. Board.
No further business, meeting adjourned at 9:25 a.m.
