Summary of Minutes
February 5, 2019 Regular Meeting

The Nobles Board of Commissioners met for its Regular Meeting at the Government Center in the City of Worthington. Commissioners Justin Ahlers, Gene Metz, Matt Widboom, Robert S. Demuth Jr. and Donald Linssen were in attendance.

Approved agenda as presented.
Angela Abrahamson, Social Worker, was acknowledged as the recipient of the Nobles County Excellence In Performance Award.
Approved consent agenda as presented including proceedings of the January 22, 2019 Regular Meeting, 2019 Warrant Payment Authorization-Resolution 201901, Legal Services Agreement - Rinke Noonan, 2019 NAC Mechanical & Automation Customer Support Agreement Renewal, Travel Expenses, and Auditor's and Commissioner's Warrants totaling $460,595.15.
Held a public hearing for proposed property tax abatement and adopted Resolution 201905 approving tax abatement to Bridget Hinrichs for parcel 12-0160-000 pursuant to Minnesota Statute 469.1813 and the Nobles County Nobles Home Initiative Guidelines.
Approved the Finance Department Position Reclassification for the Cost Accountant position.
Approved an agreement with EAPC for the Structural Engineering for Old Jail Stairwells project at a cost not to exceed $6,500.00.
Approved and set the Board of Equalization hearing date for Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 6:00 PM in the Board of Commissioners Room, Nobles County Government Center, 315 Tenth Street, Worthington MN.
Appointed a citizen to the Health and Human Services Advisory Committee.
No further business, meeting adjourned at 9:20 a.m.
