Summary of Minutes
April 23, 2019 Regular Meeting

The Nobles Board of Commissioners met for its Regular Meeting at the Government Center in the City of Worthington. Commissioners Justin Ahlers, Gene Metz, Matt Widboom, Robert S. Demuth Jr. and Donald Linssen were in attendance.

Approved agenda as presented.
Tammy Fishel, Income Maintenance Supervisor in Community Services, was in attendance and was presented with her anniversary award in recognition of 15 years of service.
Approved consent agenda as presented including proceedings of the April 2, 2019 Regular Meeting, DOC Work Release Contract Renewal - Resolution 201920, State of MN - MN State Colleges and Universities with Southwest Minnesota State University (SMSU), Meetings & Conferences - Travel Expenses and Auditor's and Commissioner's Warrants totaling $804,676.92.
Held a public hearing and adopted Resolution 201913 approving tax abatement to Jerry Lonneman for parcel 21-0184-000 pursuant to Minnesota Statute 469.1813.
Approved a request for out of state travel for Law Enforcement Staff.
Approved the 2018 Annual County Feedlot Officer Report and Performance Credit Report.
Authorized the advertisement for bids for the Intersection Lighting Project with the bid opening to be held on May 23, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at the County Administration Office.
Approved the issuance of $175,000 of the aquative invasive species funding to the Okabena Ocheda Watershed Project for the Lake Ocheda dam reconstruction.
Adopted resolutions approving grant agreements with the Commissioner of Transportation for the construction of 6 bridges.
Directed county staff to review the Cost Accountant job description located within Public Works and have the grade and points evaluated.
Approved payment to Doug Nau Construction, LLC, in the amount of $11,423.00 for the Air Handler Unit # 4 Access project.
Rescheduled the April 30th work session to April 29th due to 2 Missouri River Watershed public hearings.
No further business, meeting adjourned at 10:27 a.m.
