‘Living Well with Diabetes’ class scheduled

WORTHINGTON — A.C.E. of SW Minnesota will begin a weekly “Living Well with Diabetes” class at 2 p.m. July 30.

The class will use a HIPPA-secure Zoom video conferencing platform. There will be a “Session 0” to learn how to use Zoom at 2 p.m. Monday.

The class will improve participants’ knowledge about diabetes and help improve self-management skills. Other topics covered in this series will be: exercise for strength and maintaining endurance; developing healthy eating habits; making action plans; problem solving; preventing low blood sugar; preventing or delaying complications; making decisions; and much more.
