Marine Corp League group in Worthington on May 25

WORTHINGTON -- The Buffalo Ridge Leathernecks Detachment of the Marine Corps League of Adrian invites the public to visit with its members from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 25 at the new Runnings Store on Oxford Street in Worthington.

WORTHINGTON - The Buffalo Ridge Leathernecks Detachment of the Marine Corps League of Adrian invites the public to visit with its members from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 25 at the new Runnings Store on Oxford Street in Worthington.  

Members will be passing out mini flags and wooden buffalo nickels, and will be accepting U.S. flags onsite for proper disposal. This disposal will be able to be made free of charge; donations will be accepted.

The Marine Corps League, which is chartered by an act of Congress, is a nonprofit veterans services organization. All proceeds stay local to assist Marines, sailors, veterans and local communities,

The League meet the first Thursday of each month at the Adrian American Legion at 109 Maine Ave.
