Museum Expo planned April 28

MARSHALL -- The Lyon County Museum, 301 W. Lyon St., Marshall, will host the third annual Museum Expo, "Your Passport to Summer Fun!" from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 28.

MARSHALL - The Lyon County Museum, 301 W. Lyon St., Marshall, will host the third annual Museum Expo, “Your Passport to Summer Fun!” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 28.

Attendees can plan their summer road trip by learning about the rich history in southwest Minnesota. Visit with area historical societies and museums and learn about what they have to offer. There will also be scavenger hunts in the museum, door prizes and specials on Schwan’s ice cream floats and sundaes.

Participating museums include the Balaton Area Historical Society, Balaton; Cottonwood County Historical Society, Windom; End-O-Line Railroad Park and Museum, Currie; Lincoln County Historical Society, Hendricks; Lucan Area Historical Society, Lucan; Murray County Historical Society, Slayton; Renville County Historical Society, Morton; Vietnam Memorial & History Center, Minneota and the Wheels Across the Prairie Museum, Tracy.
