WORTHINGTON - The Nobles County Historical Society (NCHS) will host its annual meeting at 2 p.m. April 28 in the Worthington Area YMCA’s Community Room.
There will be a feature presentation on the award-winning entries in the society’s recent countywide photo contest. The individuals who submitted the top-rated pictures will share them with the attendees and will describe what they know about these historic images.
Afterward, NCHS board representatives will offer a brief overview of the society’s plans to submit a proposal for the purchase of the former Armory. A preliminary layout for how the different building spaces could be utilized for museum purposes will be presented.
The meeting is open to NCHS members and all county residents with an interest in local history. Refreshments will be served.
