SIBLEY, Iowa — The Community Foundation of Osceola County (CFOC) will award grants to 37 organizations as it celebrates its 14th year with an awards ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Harris Community Center. All are welcome to attend.
In all, $120,423.74 in grants from the County Endowment Fund Program will be awarded to recipients from all parts of the county.
The CFOC is committed to improving the quality of life throughout the county by investing in area nonprofits through grant programs. The foundation exists to help concerned individuals mobilize charitable giving to support the betterment of communities and organizations.
The CFOC is affiliated with the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines, a nonprofit, providing financial management, strategic development and educational services to communities, organizations and donors throughout Osceola County.
Grants are available to 501(c)3 organizations and government entities serving Osceola County. Since 2007, CFOC has awarded more than $1 million to local non-profit and community improvement groups for projects all over Osceola County.
