Notice of Application for Livestock Feedlot Permit
Notice is hereby given per Minnesota Statutes 116.07, subd. 7(a), that Adam and Don Sipe, will be applying to Jackson County and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency for a permit to expand a feedlot of 500 animal units (AU) or more.
The feedlot will be located in the NW ¼ of the NW ¼ of Section 25 of Ewington Township, T102N-R38W, of Jackson County, Minnesota. The feedlot will consist of 3,200 head of finishing swine and 5,750 head of nursery swine. The final animal unit capacity will be 1,247.5 after the expansion. All swine will be held in total confinement with manure storage in concrete deep pits. The feedlot will be owned by Sipe Farms, Inc.
This publication shall constitute as notice to each resident and each owner of real property within 5,000 feet of the perimeter of the proposed feedlot as required by Minnesota State Law.
