NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON TAX ABATEMENT REQUEST
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the School Board of Independant School District No. 518 (the "School Board") will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 2, at 7:30 a.m., in the District Administrative Office, in Worthington, Minnesota, to consider a tax abatement request from Astrup Drug Inc., pursuant to Minnesota Statue 469.1813 and 116J.993 through 116J.995. The request is to abate the County's portion of real estate taxes for 15 years or a maximum combined abatement with City of Worthington and Nobles County of $80,000, whichever occurs first, to financially offset the costs affiliated with the redevelopment of 426 10th Street. The subject property is legally described as:
Lots 1 and 2, and Lots 11 and 12, all in Block 23, Plat of Worthington, Nobles County, Minnesota.

That part of Lots 3 and 10, Block 23, Original, Plat of Worthington, Nobles County, Minnesota, described as follows:
Commencing at the most easterly corner of Lot 3 of Block 23, Original Plat of Worthington, according to the recorded plat thereof; thence on an assumed bearing of North 45 degrees 00 minutes 05 seconds West, along the northeasterly line of said Lot 3, a distance of 92.57 feet to the point of beginning of the tract to be described; thence continuing North 45 degrees 00 minutes 05 seconds West, along said northeasterly line and along the northeasterly line of Lot 10 of said Block 23, a distance of 140.00 feet; thence South 44 degrees 53 minutes 23 seconds West a distance of 41.81 feet; thence South 45 degrees 06 minutes 36 seconds East a distance of 140.00 feet; thence North 44 degrees 53 minutes 24 seconds East a distance of 41.55 feet to the point of beginning.
