The City of Worthington Planning Commission will hold one public hearing on Tuesday, September 1, 2009, for the purpose of considering the following Planning Commission business:
- Variance - Brian and Joyce Laackmann are seeking the approval of a variance for their property located at 1203 McMillan Street. Approval of the variance would allow the applicants to encroach 4.2' and 17.5' into the required 8' side and 20' rear yard set backs, respectively, for the construction of a 14'x45' garage addition onto the existing single family dwelling. The legal description for the property to be considered for the variance is as follows:
East 99 feet of Lot 15, Block 1, Apel-Chermak Subdivision, City of Worthington, Nobles County, Minnesota.
The public hearing will be held in the City Council Chambers, at City Hall, 303 Ninth St., Worthington, Minnesota, at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2009. At the hearing, the Planning Commission will hear staff's report and public testimony and may take action. All interested persons are invited to attend and be heard.
