MILFORD, Iowa - Lace up the running shoes and head out to the country for the first Run the Bend 5K on Nov. 17 at the Horseshoe Bend Wildlife Area.

Registration will begin at 10 a.m. Nov. 17, and the run will commence at 11 a.m. Participants will begin on the north side of the park by the summer camp sites and then will head off along mowed trails for a 3.1-mile run through autumn trees. They will cross the Little Sioux River via a footbridge and end near the tubing hill shelter on the south side of the park.
