NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON TAX ABATEMENT REQUEST

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Independent School District 518 of Nobles County, Minnesota will hold a public hearing on June 17th at 5:00 p.m. to consider a tax abatement request from Jay and Lisa Milbrant/Johnson Builders and Realty Inc., pursuant to Minnesota Statute 469.1813 and 116J.993 through 116J.995. The request is to abate 100% of the School District’s portion of real estate taxes related to the building improvements on the subject property for a period of 5 years. The subject property is located at 27494 Read Ave. and is legally described as:

Legal Description: 3 tracts totaling 36.57 acres in North ½ of South East ¼ & 16.44’ along south line of North ½ containing 1.93 acres of section 31 of Lorain Township in Nobles County, MN.

The public hearing will be held in the Media Center of the Worthington High School, 1211 Clary St., Worthington, Minnesota. All interested persons are invited to attend and be heard. Those unable to attend are invited to send written comments, prior to the hearing, to: School Board, 1117 Marine Avenue, Worthington, Minnesota 56187.
