Teen stargazing event is Wednesday in Lakefield


LAKEFIELD — Tweens and teens across the region are invited to participate in a stargazing and bonfire party at Sparks Park in Lakefield.

Hosted by the Jackson County Library System and the Prairie Ecology Bus Center, youth entering fifth through 12th grades may attend the party, which will serve pizza, pop, water and s’mores.

Limited transportation will be available from the Heron Lake library, 7:55 p.m. leave time; Okabena City Park, 8:10 p.m. leave time; and Jackson library, 8 p.m. Seats are on a first come first served basis.

Registration deadline is today.
