‘Tinsel and Tidings on Tenth’ entries sought

WORTHINGTON -- The Community Image Committee of the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking entries for "Tinsel and Tidings on Tenth," this year's downtown holiday parade scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Nov. 30.

WORTHINGTON - The Community Image Committee of the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking entries for “Tinsel and Tidings on Tenth,” this year’s downtown holiday parade scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Nov. 30.

Businesses and organizations are invited to have an entry in the parade. There is no fee to participate, but all entries use lights in some form.

For the first time this year, first- second- and third place prizes will be awarded. Prizes of $100 in Chamber Checks, $75 in Chamber Checks and $50 in Chamber Checks will be presented.

Those interested may pick up a registration form at the Chamber, 1121 Third Ave. Deadline for return of the completed form is Nov. 21. For more information, phone the Chamber at 372-2919.
