‘Tomando Control de Su Salud’ class begins Feb. 18

Class is fully Spanish-language version of A.C.E. of Southwest Minnesota’s “Living Well with Chronic Conditions”

WORTHINGTON — “Tomando Control de Su Salud,” a fully Spanish-language version of the A.C.E. of Southwest Minnesota’s “Living Well with Chronic Conditions” class, will begin Feb, 18 and continue weekly through March 25.

Classes will take place Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. once a week for six weeks and will be hosted via Zoom. Participants will make weekly action plans, share experiences and help each other solve problems as they carry out their plans. Topics include nutrition, exercise, medication use, pain management, emotions and communicating with medical providers.
