Worthington’s Night to Unite is Aug. 6

WORTHINGTON — Neighbors are invited to join together Aug. 6 with area public safety personnel for Worthington’s annual Night to Unite.

Emergency and first responder organizations will be on display from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Centennial Park. Agencies on display include the law enforcement emergency response unit, Southwest Crisis Center, Worthington Fire Department and Sanford Ambulance.

Free food and entertainment will also be provided. A children’s bouncy house, door prizes and K-9 demo are on tap for the night.

Night to Unite is observed nationally on the first Tuesday in August and provides citizens and public safety personnel the opportunity to join together to give crime, drugs and violence a going away party.
