Dennis Doeden


Dennis Doeden, former publisher of the Bemidji Pioneer, is a feature reporter. He is a graduate of Metropolitan State University with a degree in Communications Management.

He joined Forum Communications Company in 1979 and worked at The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead for 22 years in various newsroom positions. He was named publisher of the Bemidji Pioneer in 2001 and served in that post until 2019. He welcomes story ideas at or by phone at 218-333-9771.

Peter Nordquist has made three trips to Ukraine to provide humanitarian aid since the Russian invasion began in February. He now is working with a doctor in Minneapolis to provide prosthetics to Ukrainians who have lost limbs in the war.
