NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON TAX ABATEMENT REQUEST

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN the City Council of the City of Worthington, Nobles County, Minnesota, will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 27, 2020 at 7:00p.m. to consider a tax abatement request from Dan Krueger, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 469.1813 and 116J.993 through 16J.995. The request is to abate 100% of the City’s portion of real estate taxes related to the building improvements at 1881 and 1883 First Avenue Southwest for a period of 5 years. The
subject property is legally described as:

Units 3 and 4, Common Interest Community No. 26-A, South Lake Condominium, City of Worthington, Nobles County, Minnesota.

The public hearing will be held in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 303 Ninth Street, Worthington, Minnesota, at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, April 27, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the April 27, 2020 Worthington City Council meeting will be closed to the public. Some Council members may participate by telephone or other electronic means in accordance with Minnesota Statute 13D.021. All interested persons that wish to speak on any of the matters must contact City Hall at (507) 372-8600 by 5:00 P.M. on April 27, 2020 for an access code to join the hearings. Any cost incurred from phone calls or other electronic means will be borne by
the participant. Those unable to be heard at the time of the meetings are invited to send written comments prior to the hearing via e-mail to Jason Brisson at
