Nobles County Board Summary Minutes December 08, 2022 Regular Board Meeting The Nobles Board of Commissioners met for a Regular Board Meeting in the Board of Commissioners room at the Government Center. Commissioners Gene Metz, Bob Paplow, Justin Ahlers, Donald Linssen and Robert S. Demuth attended. • Approved agenda as presented. • Recognized Valerie Ruesch, Nobles County Assessor, for 35 Years of Service. • Recognized Sharon Heidebrink, Assessment Technician, for 10 Years of Service. • Approved the consent agenda, which included proceedings from the November 22, 2022 Regular Board Meeting, Travel Expenses paid December 02, 2022, Commissioners Warrants totaling $410,898.74, Summary of vendors paid over $2,000, a breakdown of Credit Card payments, Legal Service Agreement between Nobles County Attorney’s office and the City of Adrian, MN Dept. of Human Services County Grant Contract for Adult Protection Response Enhancement, Subsidy Funding for the City of Adrian for storm water improvements, a Professional Service Agreement with CEDA for Child Care Expansion, 2023-24 Day Care Consultation Agreements with Kids R It and We Care Day Care, 2023 Subsurface Septic Treatment System Grant Agreement, HAVA phase 2 Voting Equipment Grant Award Acceptance, Professional service agreement between Nobles County Attorney’s office and Miriam Johnson/Godspeed Transcription, Nobles & Jackson County Judicial Ditch No. 9 Bid Package 4 Pay Application 1, Legal Service Agreement between Nobles County Attorney’s Office and Rinke Noonan, Prosecution contract with the City of Rushmore and the Nobles County Attorney’s Office, Legal Service Agreement between the Nobles County Attorney’s Office and Smith and Johnson for Appellate Work and 2023 United Community Action Partnership Transportation Agreement. • Held a public hearing and approved a 5-year tax abatement for Jeremy and Kasey Nelson. • Approved revisions to Sections 502 & 503 of the Nobles County Land Use Ordinance. • Approved a quote from Midwest Alarm to replace the intercom system in the Nobles County Jail. • Approved a contract with Heather Flynn to be the Law Library Custodian. • Approved a 2-year contract extension with Eckberg Lammers. • Approved a quote from DebtBook for a contract renewal. • Approved participation in the planning process for the All Hazard Mitigation Plan. • Approved a temporary pay increase for Licia Keninger, Environmental Assistant, to cover duties for the vacant Cost Accountant position. • Approved amendment #3 to the A.C.E.
