Nobles County Board Summary Minutes February 07, 2023 Regular Board Meeting The Nobles Board of Commissioners met for a Regular Board Meeting in the Board of Commissioners room at the Government Center. Commissioners Robert S. Demuth, Justin Ahlers, Bob Paplow and Chris Dybevick attended. • Approved agenda as presented. • Recognized Angelo Torres, IT Director, on 10 years of service with the County. • Approved the consent agenda, which included proceedings from the January 24, 2023 Regular Board Meeting, Travel Expenses paid January 27, 2023, Commissioners Warrants totaling $596,068.05, summary of vendors paid over $2,000, Child In Need of Protection or Services (CHIPS) 2023 agreements with Kinser Law and Smith & Johnson Attorneys Law, 2023 Ditch Maintenance Assessments, SW MN Private Industry Council Incumbent Worker Training Program Agreement, and Solid Waste & Recycling Hauling & Facility Permits for 2023. • Approved the County Board of Appeal and Equalization Meeting for the 2023 Assessment for June 13, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the Commissioner Board Room. • Approved a Provider Participation Agreement with PrimeWest. • Approved a Grant Project Agreement with the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Security for $150,000 for the Community Economic Development Associates to assist with expanding regional child care. • Approved a wind farm repowering agreement with Zephyr Wind, LLC. • Appointed Bridget Harberts to the Library Board. • Appointed members to a Reading Sanitary Sewer District Focus Group. • No further business, the meeting adjourned at 9:27 a.m. The above represents a summary of the County Board actions on the listed date.
