Nobles County Board Summary Minutes May 02, 2023 Regular Board Meeting The Nobles Board of Commissioners met for a Regular Board Meeting in the Board of Commissioners room at the Government Center. Commissioners Robert S. Demuth, Justin Ahlers, Gene Metz, Bob Paplow and Chris Dybevick attended. • Approved the agenda as presented. • Recognized Sara Henderson, Child Support Officer, on 25 years of service. • Approved the consent agenda, which included proceedings from the April 18, 2023 Regular Board Meeting, Travel Expenses paid April 21, 2023, Commissioners Warrants totaling $882,622.37, Auditor’s warrants paid to vendors over $2,000, Breakdown of Wells Fargo payments and a temporary liquor license for the Lao Buddhist Temple. • Approved a request by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to grant an easement for waterfowl management rights on Troy and Barbra King’s land. • Approved a tobacco license for Worthington Smoke Shop. • Approved a tobacco license for The Station, LLC. • Approved conditional use permit #02-2023 for Lewis and Clark Regional Water System to construct a main water line to the Iowa line. • Approved a bid from Northwest Asphalt & Maintenance for a 2023 bituminous crack treatment and joint leveling project. • Approved final payment to Henning Construction, Inc. for a township bridge replacement project. • Approved a bid from Doom & Cuyper’s Construction, Inc. for the standby generator replacement project at the Government Center. • Heard an update from Minnesota Counties Intergovernmental Trust (MCIT). • No further business, the meeting adjourned at 10:33 a.m. The above represents a summary of the County Board actions on the listed date.
