NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Water & Light Commission of the City of Worthington, Minnesota, will hold a public hearing to consider potential improvements to the municipal wastewater system. Improvement options that are being considered include rehabilitation of existing control building/pretreatment/main lift station, construction of biological nutrient removal activated sludge facility with clarifiers, biosolids storage and treatment improvements and demolition of old structures that will no longer be used. Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to the proposed improvements will be heard at this meeting.

The public hearing will be held on May 18, 2020, either in person or by other means. Persons desiring to participate in this public hearing should contact Deb Scheidt, Administrative Secretary, at (507) 372-8680 for meeting details.
