NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, That the City Council of the City of Worthington, Minnesota is considering the adoption of an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND TITLE XV OF THE CITY CODE OF WORTHINGTON, NOBLES COUNTY, MINNESOTA"
The City Council of the City of Worthington, Do Ordain:

Section I.
The Worthington City Code, Title XV, Section 155 Appendix D: 4, Required Distance Buffering shall be amended as to read:
USE DISTANCE
Quarrying or operation of any stockpile Minimum of 200' to any property line except minimum of 50' to street line
Swimming pool in residential area 10' to property line
Swimming pool pump or filter 30' to property line
Air conditioners, independent mounted 10' to property line
Loading docks 100' to abutting residential and medical uses property line
Junk yards and salvaging yards 20' to property line
Amateur radio towers Amateur radio towers shall comply with the same setback requirements
of the principal structure in the district it is located in and not exceed a height of 50 feet
Commercial communication towers The height of the tower or the length of the guy wire, whichever is
greater, to the property line of an existing or future residential district or
use. Measurement shall begin from the location of the tower, including
anchors.
Open air recreation uses 200' to residential district property line
Section II.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this ordinance in the office of the Recorder in and for the County of Nobles, State of Minnesota
Section III.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication and filing of the certified copy thereof with the Recorder in and for the said County of Nobles, State of Minnesota.
Which proposed ordinance was given its first reading at a Regular Meeting of the City Council held on Monday, July 12, 2021
Said proposed ordinance will again be considered by the City Council at a Regular Meeting to be held at 7:00 p.m., on Monday, July 26, 2021 in the City Hall Council Chambers, 303 Ninth Street of said City.
