WORTHINGTON - A “Grow a Healthy Garden” workshop will be offered from 9 to 10 a.m. and noon to 1 p.m. May 13 at the Farmers Room in the lower level of the Nobles County Government Center, 315 10th St., Worthington.

The University of Minnesota, Nobles County 4-H and Master Gardener Mona Henkels are offering the free workshop with financial support from a local business.

Each attendee will receive a bag of assorted seeds at the workshop. They will also learn how to maintain a garden, grow a variety of vegetables, feed a garden, how to grow tomatoes and other plants and the different types of gardens.
