Auditions for Windom play scheduled

Globe News Brief jpg

WINDOM — Auditions will take place next week for the Prairie Arts Continuum’s March 26–29 production of the musical comedy “SHREK The Musical.”

Area residents who would like to spend the next few months making new friends while learning lines, songs and possibly a few dance moves should plan to audition for this adaptation of the story of the hulking green ogre. There are roles of all sizes for adults and students.

Auditions will be Monday and Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the library at the Business, Arts and Recreation Center, Inc. (BARC) located at 1012 Fifth Ave. in Windom.

All who audition should be prepared to share a simple song and bring a list of potential conflicts for evening and possible weekend rehearsals during the months of February and March.

Students who plan to audition should be at least 10 years old. Students, along with a parent, are asked to come to audition between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. each evening.

Anyone with questions should contact PAC Project Director Shelley Lange at (507) 830-0022.
