WORTHINGTON - Folk/Americana singer and songwriter Dennis Warner will perform in concert at 7;30 p.m. Feb. 9 at the Nobles County Art Center (War Memorial Building).
Warner blends humor, audience participation and serious music into a fun, memorable concert for adults and families. The free concert is funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. The concert is sponsored by the Nobles County Library and Nobles County Art Center.
Warner has toured extensively throughout all 50 U.S. states and a large part of Canada, appearing numerous times on both television and radio. In recognition of his contributions as a songwriter, he was honored with an invitation to perform in concert at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.

Based on radio play worldwide, Warner’s 2012 “Seeds” album was named one of the top albums in folk music that year, along with Warner also being named one of the top folk artists. In 2015, Warner released his 10th CD, “Beep Beep,” his first album intended for children; it came to fruition after receipt a grant from the McKnight Foundation and the Central Minnesota Arts Board.
