Library News: Dec. 1-7

The Nobles County Library, 407 12th St., Worthington, is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Here’s what’s happening in children’s programming:

  • Story Time, 10 a.m. Wednesday.

  • After School Programs, 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays (Grades K-5).

  • Just Gurlz, Thursdays after school until 4:45 p.m. (Grades 5+).

  • Wii Program, Mondays after school until 4:45 p.m. (Grades 5-9).

Worthington library:

  • Many new books will be available soon!

Adrian Branch library:

  • Temporary hours until further notice are: 1 to 5 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (as staff is available and weather permitting).

FUN FACT: There is a library of smells in Versailles, France. Called Osmotheque, it was founded in 1990 and contains over 3,200 perfume scents. Of those, 400 are no longer made. (Source: Reader's Digest)
