Library News: Week of April 18, 2021

The Nobles County Library, 407 12th St., Worthington, is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

WORTHINGTON — The Nobles County Library, 407 12th St., Worthington, is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

The Adrian Branch Library, 214 Maine Ave., Adrian, is open from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon to 5 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Spring Book Sale: Open Monday through Saturday during library hours in Worthington. The sale is set up on the main level, with a variety of adult fiction, science-fiction and non-fiction, young adult and children’s books, as well as paperbacks, audiobooks, CDs and DVDs. A bag sale is offered at the end of the week.

Friends of the Library: The next book club gathering will be at 7 p.m. April 26, discussing “American Dirt” by Jeanine Cummins. All are welcome to join the discussions. Contact the library to participate in the Zoom call.

New Books for Adults: “The Orphan Collector” by Ellen Marie Wiseman, “The Devil’s Hand” by Jack Carr, “Spilled Blood” by Brian Freeman, “The Last Night in London” by Karen White and “Perfect Little Children” by Sophie Hannah.

  • April 26: Wii U for grades 5-9, after school until 4:45 p.m.

  • April 27: After school program for grades K-5 until 4:45 p.m.
