Library News: Week of April 26, 2021
Spring book sale was a success.
WORTHINGTON — The Nobles County Library, 407 12th St., Worthington, is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
The Adrian Branch Library, 214 Maine Ave., Adrian, is open from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon to 5 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Book Sale & Donations: The staff of the Nobles County Library thanks everyone for a successful Spring Book Sale! We know these sales only work because of the donations brought in and the people that come to the sales. We appreciate all of the support given to the library. We have much more to offer … keep an eye out for a possible Summer Book Sale!
Donations: The library accepts donations of books, audiobooks, CDs and DVDs that are in good, sellable condition. Please do not donate books that are musty or smoky smelling, dirty or not in decent condition. The library does not accept catalogs, encyclopedias, magazines, Reader’s Digest Condensed Books or videotapes.
Friends of the Library: The next book club gathering meets at 7 p.m. April 26, discussing “American Dirt” by Jeanine Cummins. All are welcome to join the discussions. Contact the library to participate in the Zoom call.

Children’s Programming at Worthington: Stop in or call the library to register at 295-5340. Also, visit nclibrary.org for more information on all library events.
Monday: Wii U for grades 5-9, after school until 4:45 p.m.
Tuesday: After school program for grades K-5 until 4:45 p.m.
Wednesday: Story Time from 10 to 11 a.m. for preschool and younger.
Thursday: After school program for grades K-5 until 4:45 p.m.
May 3: Just Gurlz (girls in grades 5-9), after school until 4:45 p.m.
May 4: After school program for grades K-5 until 4:45 p.m.
