WALNUT GROVE — The new Loose Gravel Music Festival will be July 31 at the Wilder Outdoor Theater near Walnut Grove. Food, beverages, open mic and a full day of music are featured.
The festival includes bluegrass and Americana music, with Maple Street Band and the Divers set to perform their upbeat tunes and laugh-out-loud shtick.
Also, meet rising star Hailey Steele, from Nashville by way of South Dakota, who recently released her single “American Spirit”.
The Henhouse Prowlers from Chicago are the ambassadors of bluegrass and have toured to over 26 countries. The headlining act, Pert Near Sandstone,” is from the metro and an original group of pickers. They’ve shared bills on the road with the likes of Trampled By Turtles and Del McCoury.
Tickets are available online at loosegravelmusicfestival.org. Gates open at 10:30 a.m.
