NEW YORK — The film “The Ringmaster,” featuring Worthington native Larry Lang and his famous onion rings, premiered Aug. 8 at the Festival of Cinema NYC.
Festival of Cinema NYC announced the winners of its third annual event at an Aug. 11 awards gala. From a pool of nearly 450 film submissions, the festival presented 125 films from 25 countries. “The Ringmaster,” directed by Molly Dworsky and Dave Newberg, was honored as best documentary.
Winners for each competitive category were chosen by the festival’s specially selected jury, and received a unique statuette at the awards gala.
