WORTHINGTON — Emmanuel United Methodist Church, located at the southeast corner of 14th Street and Fourth Avenue in Worthington, will host its final worship service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday (June 28).
The church was founded in 1889, and Emmanuel’s congregation has worshiped since 1923 at its current location. In 2019, average attendance had dwindled to 11, and the remaining congregants voted to dissolve their church.
