ROUND LAKE — Sing Boldly, a Community Hymn Festival, will take place at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Round Lake Community Center, 445 Harrison St.
Presented by organist Paul Soulek and the youth choir and handbells from St. John Lutheran Church and School in Seward, Nebraska, the event is open to all.
A hymn festival is a combination of a hymn sing and choral concert. While the choir and handbells will present their own music, a good portion of the event involves singing with those who gather. Everyone will find some familiar favorites, and perhaps some new favorites as well.
