'Flower Power' nominations sought

WORTHINGTON —The Community Image Committee of the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring the “Flower Power Yard of the Week” program starting the week of June 7 and running through the summer months.

Anyone is eligible to nominate a residence as a candidate for the yard of the week. Nominations can be made by calling the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce office at 372-2919 or by emailing wcofc@worthingtonmnchamber.com .

People who know of a landscape or garden project that has enhanced the physical attractiveness of their neighbors, friends, relatives, etc., property are encouraged to nominate them.
