18-month old boy falls three stories

ST. JOSEPH - An 18-month-old boy suffered a fractured jaw Monday evening after falling out a third-floor window, according to St. Joseph police.
Authorities say the child had been taking a nap in his room about 5:50 p.m. when he crawled to the window, slid it open and pushed the screen out. One of the boy’s parents saw him on the ground and while attending to him had a passerby call 911.
Authorities found the child crying and responsive. The boy was transported to St. Cloud Hospital.
Police say they believe the fall was an accident.
