The Nobles County Library, 407 12th St., Worthington, is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Here’s what’s happening in children’s programming:

  • The summer reading programs are finished, but kids can come and spend their reading money until Aug. 23.

Happening at the Worthington library:

  • Many new books and movies will be added to the shelves in the next couple of weeks. Come and check them out!

Happening at the Adrian Branch library:

  • There will be a drawing throughout the month of August for two Baby Dragon Fingerlings.

  • Stop in and see the new books and movies!

  • The library has school supply lists available for parents and students.

Friends of the Library

  • The next book club meeting is from 7-8 p.m. Aug. 26 in the Nobles County Art Center (basement of library). The book being discussed is “Ordinary Grace,” by William Kent Kruger. All are welcome.
