WINDOM - Debra J. Jankord, who had been missing since July 1, returned home safely, the Windom Police Department reported Wednesday.
According to Windom Assistant Police Chief Cory Hillesheim, Jankord returned around 5 a.m. Wednesday to her family. She was safe and in good health, he added.
“We were very fortunate and very happy,” Hillesheim said.
The department issued a Nixle alert July 5, asking the public’s assistance in locating the 51-year-old, who had not been seen or had contact with family since July 1.
