Women’s self-defense training offered
SIBLEY, Iowa — The Sibley Public Library will host a free self-defense class from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 29 in the lower level of the library, 406 Ninth St., Sibley.
The class is appropriate for women ages 13 and older. Attendees will learn about predators, situational awareness, verbal defensive tactics and assertiveness skills and physical presence. It will be lead by the North Iowa Women’s Self-Defense Initiative.
